The views from Casas Tipicas were absolutely breathtaking. As I turned the corner of the building, I was greeted with a "Wow" moment. The gardens were filled with a riot of colorful flowers, creating a vibrant and beautiful atmosphere. The apartment itself was well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also ideal, with two levada walks just minutes away and the town center of Ribeira Brava a short drive away. And let's not forget the sandy beach in Calheta, only a 15-minute drive from the property. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend staying at Casas Tipicas Candelaria Tabua.

One small inconvenience was that the bathroom in the 4-person house was accessed through the bedroom, which was a bit uncomfortable. the narrow streets and steep slopes in the area might be challenging for drivers who aren't used to mountainous regions.

We absolutely loved our stay here! the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great local tips for exploring the area. the location was simply stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the terrace, surrounded by blooming flowers and overlooking the beautiful pool.

Not much to complain about, but there were a couple of minor issues. you could hear people in the other rooms, which is to be expected in this type of house.
